ABSTRACT:
The Nuasis? NuContact Center? is a next-generation system for intelligently routing customer contacts by phone, e-mail, fax, or the Web. The system is the first major advance in customer contact systems in over a decade. Traditional circuit-switched ACDs are now obsolete with this IP-based contact center for the distribution of voice, e-mail, fax, and Web contacts.

The NuContact Center is a new approach to managing multiple, dispersed contact centers as a single center. A distributed hub and node architecture, or Enterprise Routing Architecture (ERA?), provides important advantages over existing contact distribution systems. Advantages include improved contact routing and queuing, reporting, scalability, call fail-over protection, and management of network infrastructure.
